Ruth vs food

I should have probably blogged this on Sunday, when it actually happened. But let's just say I've only just got round to it.

Anyway, on Sunday I went out for a meal in Durham with my family, we ate at café continental (delicious food and lovely waitresses, I'd massively recommend it).

I was having a great time and after devouring my cajun chicken American wrap (which was unreal), we decided it was time for pudding. And then this happened...

In the first picture, we have a white chocolate mocha, which is quite frankly the nicest mocha I have ever tasted. However, the thing in the second picture... That is a malteaser slice. It's a chunk of malteasery chocolate and tastes lovely. But they give you a knife to eat it and it is extremely filling. I only managed half of mine and felt like I was going to explode like a balloon for the rest of the day. You know how you usually have an evening meal despite how big your lunch was? Well my evening meal wasn't eaten till about 9pm and consisted of toast.

It's fair to say food is in the lead 1-0 to me :(

Thank you for reading,

Ruth x
