Oxford Adventures

Hi Guys!

Last week, I visited Oxford for three days with my parents, to see my brother who studies down there. It was lovely. The university is absolutely fabulous, its so historic and just a genuinely nice place to visit. We pottered around the university colleges and I loved them all. My favourite was Christchurch (That's my brother's college, I'm totally biased), where some of the scenes for Harry Potter were filmed. I was literally standing in the great hall (eeeekkkk)! Although my brother eats in there every day, no biggie...

Recognise these? Harry Potter stairs!!

I'm in the Great Hall, I'd totally be a Hufflepuff.

Anyway, I thought I'd share some photos and some thoughts about my travels. Firstly, the weather was actually quite nice. I mean, it was English, but it was nice enough to walk round in a light jacket.

On the day we arrived, we walked through the city center towards Oxford Castle and up onto the mound (I think its called that), which had stunning panoramic views of the entire city. Following this, we had a walk around some of Christchurch college and the meadows surrounding it. It was such a beautiful and tranquil place to walk in considering its situated in such a busy crowded city.

Some of the other places we visited included the Ashmolean Museum and the Science Museum. I'm a massive fan of museums so of course my visit would have been incomplete without visiting them. I loved the Ashmolean museum, especially the floor with all the musical instruments and tapestries. In the science museum, there was Lewis Carroll's camera and Albert Einstein's chalkboard. Both fascinating to see in real life!!

Ultimately, I had a lovely visit down south to the historic city of Oxford and would recommend going if you're considering it. The university colleges are a must see. And for food, the White Rabbit in the city center has amazing pizzas!!

Thank you for reading,
Peace and Love xo

Enjoy some photos...
